Our History

The development of Bayu Beach Resort began with its official groundbreaking ceremony on 23 February 1992, marking the start of a new landmark along the Port Dickson coastline. The event was officiated by YAB Dato’ Seri Utama Tan Sri Haji Mohd Isa bin Dato’ Haji Abdul Samad, the then Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan. His presence reflected the significance of the project and its expected contribution to the state’s tourism and local economy.

Founders and Early Leadership

The groundbreaking of Bayu Beach Resort also highlighted the involvement and commitment of The Mr Raymond Kung King Heep and Mrs Kung Moo Ling, who were present throughout the ceremony and early development stages. Their commitment reflected the leadership, vision, and groundwork that helped bring the project from concept to reality.

From an open plot of land overlooking the shoreline, the vision for Bayu Beach Resort began to take shape a family-friendly seaside destination with accommodation, dining, and event facilities, designed to welcome guests from across Malaysia. The foundation laid in 1992 became the starting point for the resort’s growth into the beachfront property that now serves families, corporate groups, and holidaymakers throughout the year.
